This is the first in A Five Part Series to help you understand how the Half Water Half Gas HHO Fuel system operates.
What is this HHO Fuel which is used in the Half Water Half Gas System?
The electrolysis of water (H2O) produces an exact mix of hydrogen and oxygen. This is a cheap and efficient method that does not require any great power source nor sophistication to build. This is directly contrary to current scientific dogma; which teaches that the creation of useful amounts of Hydrogen requires tens of thousands of watts of power, creating high amounts of heat in the process. This is simply not true: thousands of people are using this system all over the world.
That gas mixture is called HHO and would burn completely to reform into steam or water. This HHO Fuel is highly flammable, but not combustible, when used properly.
Other common names are: Common Ducted Oxyhydrogen, Brown’s Gas, Green Gas, Rhode’s Gas, Hydroxy, Di-Hydroxy, and Watergas.
Brief History of HHO Fuel used in the Half Water Half Gas System
Records show that in 1766, Henry Cavendish developed “inflammable air” which formed water on combustion. Antoine Lavoisier later that year called it Hydrogen.
1776 – Martinus van Marum made it with electrolysis and discovered that it was combustible.
1781 – Lavoisier recognized that there was another gas in the HHO and called it Oxygen.
1789 – Dutch researchers Paets van Troostwijk and Joan Rudolph Deiman proved that the HHO Fuel had 2 parts Hydrogen and 1 part Oxygen.
1826 – Thomas Drummond used the HHO to heat calcium oxide and produce a powerful light, later used as street lights.
1918 - Mr. Charles H. Frazer patented the first “Hydrogen Booster” system for internal combustion engines. This was the first application of HHO Fuel in automobiles.
1943 -1945 The British Army used electrolysers in their vehicles to help in the gas shortage.
1962 – William A Rhodes patented the electrolyser.
1974 – Ilya Velbov filed for another patent of the electrolyser and spent his life developing methods of using HHO as a fuel in other areas such as welding. He was also called Yull Brown, and the term Brown’s Gas was in his honour.
1977 – Extensive testing was done by the NASA Lewis Research Center using various sources of hydrogen. All tests proved the increased efficiency of the HHO Fuel, in fact the results were astounding, to say the least.
1990 – Juan Carlos Aquero patented a machine which uses HHO Fuel and Steam.
1990 – Stanley A Meyer patented another machine for HHO Fuel. To prove it he installed one on a buggy and drove it over 600 miles using only 4 gallons of water as fuel.
1991 - Yull Brown and the Korean firm B.E.S.T. partnered to build some of the most powerful HHO Fuel generators and proved their value and efficiency in the welding industry.
1994 - George Wiseman developed a superior electrolyser and Eagle Research is now producing HHO Fuel generators.
2006 – Dennis J Klein and RM Santilli patented another machine and coined the name HHO.
Points to note are:
- HHO Fuel has been around for a long time.
- It had been used in WW11 when there was a shortage of gas, but was ordered removed from all vehicles immediately after. Wonder why?
- Yull Brown spent his life developing and perfecting HHO Fuel, but was denounced and his works suppressed as an alternative form of energy.
- It is reputed that Stan Meyer was assassinated for developing a car that ran on only water as the Fuel, and no gasoline.

If you are looking to save some gas money by investing in a new hybrid or getting a smaller vehicle, then I have some important news for you that may help you keep your present vehicle and still reduce the cost of fuel without going into the debt of purchasing a new car. This is a tried and tested system that works. If you are a do it yourself person or a mechanic, then it becomes easier. You can get a set of plans from Half Water Half Gas and build a simple system using materials from home and the local hardware or auto shop. If not, a mechanic can easily make and install the system for you.
Why should I believe you? This Half Water Half Gas thing looks like a good scam.
You are right. You do not have to believe me. Go right ahead and get your new car. But before you do, let me ask you something.
“Do you think Gasoline was invented before the internal combustion engine or after?”
(That is the kind of engine in a car. We normally call it the Gas engine or Diesel engine.)
The answer is “after.”
Obviously if gas came after the engine, then what did they use as fuel? Brown’s Gas.
Brown’s gas is also known as HHO Fuel, Water Fuel or Oxy Hydrogen.
This is what Half Water Half Gas is about.
So exactly what is this Half Water Half Gas System about?
It shows you how to take every day common materials and build a Brown’s Gas Producing System that is easily installed in the car. You use a wide mouth glass jar like a Mayonnaise bottle, make a couple spiral coils with stainless steel wire, hook them to the battery and then connect the gases emitted to the intake manifold with plastic hoses.
Is the Half Water Half Gas System difficult to understand?
No. There is a set of easy to understand directions diagrams and pictures to guide you all the way. There are also video tutorials. If you have any questions, there is a support service.
I have read all sorts of comments discouraging the Half Water Half Gas System. Are they true?
Unfortunately, people have misconceptions. You do not have to carry along a barrel of water. You can drive up to 400 miles and only put less than a pint of water. The water does not have to be any special grade. Ordinary tap water, river water, bottled water, sea water or even molten snow will work. And the water goes into the mayonnaise jar, not the gas tank. The power is supplied from the car battery so you do need a generator. And the HHO is used up as fast as it is produced, so there is neither storage nor wastage.
That sounds like Rocket Science! Can an ordinary person install the Half Water Half Gas System on their car?
You do not have to be an engineer, scientist nor college graduate to make and install the system. Half Water Half Gas guides you each step of the way so there is no room for mistakes. If you do not feel confident enough, your mechanic can install it.
What kind of improvements will I see?
Expect an increase in mileage from 20 to 60%, depending on the installation and the type of vehicle. Your engine will run cooler, less noisy, more power and life will increase. Internally, the steam produced will decarbonize the pistons, rings, head and valves. Environmentally, there will be fewer emissions from the exhaust and less pollution. And of course, for every $100 in gas, you may now spend $80 to $40.

Many of us are frustrated about the high cost of fuel, both gasoline and diesoline. The cost of living in the recession and the tight budgets are forcing us to rethink our spending habits, and we are looking to trim expenses.
One such expense is the cost of gas. This used to be a fraction of what we are now forced to pay.
Unfortunately, we may not have control over the cost of fuel, and perhaps the distance that we have to travel on a regular basis is great. But have you ever thought of increasing gas mileage on your present vehicle, especially when replacement is not an option?
This is entirely possible. In fact, it is also easily attainable. You can now easily, cheaply and safely double your mileage. Imagine filling up in the gas station twice monthly instead of four times, and still doing the same distances. Wouldn’t this be great?
The Half Water Half Gas system is guaranteed to increase gas mileage up to 60%. Can you do with this kind of savings? How much money could you save if you could increase gas mileage by just doubling what you are getting now?
Here is how simple the Half Water Half Gas system is.
You install a small one quart water bottle fitted with a pair of stainless steel wire coils under the hood, fill it with water and a little baking soda. The device gets a vacuum suction from the intake manifold and electricity from the battery. This causes it to produce the HHO Fuel needed to increase gas mileage. As the HHO Fuel is produced, it gets pulled into the intake manifold or carburetor.
The Half Water Half Gas guides explain each step in detail, with pictures and videos. You get a complete and in simple non technical language step by step process, that anyone can follow.
HHO Fuel provides the power of hydrogen to help increase gas mileage. With this Half Water Half Gas mixture you will only need 4 ounces of water for every 100 miles. The process to increase gas mileage is easy to install and completely reversible if you get tired of doubling or tripling your gas mileage and saving all that money.
So if you really want to save money on gas, follow the Half Water Half Gas guide and smile when you pass the gas station. To get more knowledge on this topic, check out

If you are determined to cut down on your gas bill without having to either change your existing car or vehicle, or spend too much money, then this is the perhaps the best solution. It is so simple that even the skeptics are scared of its simplicity and scoff at the idea. It is called HHO Fuel and is practically made from Half Water Half Gas.
Made from Water?
Yes, that is correct. In fact it is the reason why it is being scoffed at and so much adverse comments are made. This Half Water Half Gas system can be built by anyone anywhere in the world and very cheaply too. And this is the cause of the problem: It is too inexpensive to be true – people are accustomed to paying high prices for simple things.
Also known as H2O fuel, Water fuel, Brown’s Gas or Oxy Hydrogen (as in Oxy Acetylene), anyone can produce Half Water Half Gas at home and tap into a relatively free source of energy.
You may ask yourself “How can water burn when it is used to put out fires?” Or maybe “But wouldn’t the car shut down when there is water in the tank?” But fortunately, even though water is used as the base of the new fuel, it is not used in the familiar liquid state. Here are some tips from the Half Water Half Gas Guide to get you started in understanding this old concept to help save money.
1. The water is not used in its raw or liquid form inside the engine. Instead in a very simple and easy to build apparatus or electrolyser as explained in great detail with video tutorials in Half Water Half Gas using an ordinary mayonnaise bottle, you break down the water molecules into Hydrogen and Oxygen. This is done using about the same amount of current from the battery as the park lights. It is these Hydrogen and Oxygen gases which form the HHO Fuel that are sent into the engine to be burnt.
2. The HHO Fuel mixes with the car’s petrol and burns completely in the engine. In fact the Hydrogen enhances the performance of the gasoline or diesoline and the Oxygen ensures a more complete ignition. This results in more power and since it is also an alternative fuel, it helps supplement the gasoline. The result is more miles to the gallon. The amount of savings that can be expected from your HHO Fuel is dependant on the amount of electrolysers that you install, up to a limit. You can get an average savings range of 10 to 30% normally on the basic systems, and can even increase to over 60% if you follow the step by step procedures in Half Water Half Gas.
3. The water consumption is very minimal. You can drive up to 500 miles and add less than a pint in a single unit system. It is not added to the gas tank, but into the electrolyser units. Tap water, river water and even molten snow or sea water will provide HHO Fuel. The water is broken down at the molecular level into its constituent atoms and the volumes of gaseous products emitted are tremendous compared to the amount of liquid used for their production. Because heat is produced, some water tends to also evaporate, and you have to replace this mostly. If the system could run cool, it will be practically maintenance free.
4. There is no damage to the engine. In fact, engine life has been reported to increase. The steam in the cylinders cleans out the build up of carbon and gets the metal parts shiny again. The piston and rings work like new again and the head and valves get decarbonized. With HHO Fuel in your car, van or truck, you will notice that after a short while you have a smoother and quieter engine. This is more pronounced in diesel engines. It will surprise you. The exhaust gases are more cleaner and environment friendly.
5. Do you know that the very first internal combustion engines were developed to work on this Half Water Half Gas system? Gasoline was developed afterwards. This was responsible for the importance of the Oil Industry. If all vehicles were to go back to HHO Fuel, the problems of pollution will be reduced.
6. You can easily modify your vehicle to work on HHO Fuel and make a Hybrid car. You don’t have to go and purchase an expensive ready made one. You can take your old vehicle, whatever its age, and convert. The Half Water Half Gas system can be applied from the smallest cars to the largest trucks and Earth Moving Equipments. You can even use it in lawnmowers.
7. Have you considered purchasing a hybrid car or even a smaller one to help save on gas money? Perhaps you have to do long distances regularly. Or even being on the road is part of the job. I was skeptical at first. In fact it took over three months just toying with the idea before I just decided to take action. I installed just one unit on my small truck and boy, have never regretted it. That truck pulls off on third gear without bucking. It really surprised me. Right now I am making more units to install on my car and the truck again.
So if you really want to save money on gas, there is no need to replace the vehicle. You don’t have to go through all that expense. Get yourself a Half Water Half Gas system and enjoy passing the gas station every now and then. You will literally smile.

“Tesla was one of the first to discover this inexhaustible field called ‘zero point’ energy. Conventional electrolysis using ordinary tap water uses 3 times as much energy as it produces.
However, by not using electrolyte, and avoiding a dead short condition within the cell, we can increase the voltage using a step up transformer, and pulse a DC frequency at about 10khz, utilizing a resonant charging choke to reduce current and further increase voltage, the results are quite amazing. I’m not sure if Genepax is utilizing this technology, but it is certainly out there and with many patents, including international patents, is a functional device.
